Assignment Tips for Blackboard

Please take in some helpful tips regarding assignments and blackboard

• Read all directions to the assignment and read carefully to meet assignment criteria
• Some courses may only have one attempt per assignment.  If you have a problem uploading and are not able to attempt a second time, you will need to contact your instructor and ask to clear the first attempt
• Do not submit your file as .odt or .pages file format.  Please save your document as recommended .rtf, .docx, or .doc file format to upload
• Do not name your file with any periods in the naming convention.  It is a good idea to name your document with your last name and name of the assignment.  File names should not contain blank spaces or special characters. 
• If you have trouble submitting an assignment and the Browse my Computer buttons do not work, check to make sure you have java and JavaScript enabled on your computer.

Patricia Bradshaw has been chosen as our featured student of the Spring Semester.  Patricia was inducted into the honor society of Sigma Beta Delta in 2010, has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA and will graduate with a Bachelor's degree after the Spring semester.  Congratulations Patricia, you are an awesome role model!

The Online Learning Team seeks to recognize our Online Students for their outstanding academic performance and achievements. If you would like to apply for an upcoming student of the Block, please email navigator@wilmu.edu and include 200 words about yourself and accomplishments.

We had numerous entries from online students competing in our art show in December.  First prize goes to Faith LaFazia for her piece titled "The Raven."  Awesome talent Wildcats!!!  This was a truly tough decision. 

Online learning has grown from 11% of total enrollment in 2003 to 32% of total enrollment in 2011.  We are setting the path to success for those that follow in our footsteps.  Good job!!!
